About
The Crooked Shed is named after the place where it all began…a real life crooked shed at the back of the garden.
The Shed has been up and running since 2020, although I’ve been making things all my life.
My creative journey began somewhere very different though…
I learned metalwork in the shipyards of Glasgow, later putting those skills to use making all sorts of things for the free-sports industry. I made everything from skateboard ramps and snowboard rails - to trucks that transformed into hospitality areas.
In more recent years, I’ve been involved in working in architectural metalwork for the construction industry, working on exciting contemporary newbuilds and fantastic renovation projects.
These days working as The Crooked Shed I’m doing what I really love, creating handcrafted metalwork for a huge variety of different projects and collaborations: big and small.
